It started as feeling tired all the time, but soon, it progressed to the point where I could barely get out of bed in the morning. I was constantly exhausted, no matter how much sleep I got. I went to countless doctors and specialists, but no one could figure out what was wrong with me.

Despite my exhaustion, I refused to give up my extracurricular activities. I thought I could overcome the fatigue by pushing through it, but the more I pushed, the worse it got.

I missed out on so much during those years - parties, dances, and even some of my own competitions. I felt like I was living in a fog, watching life pass me by from the sidelines.

After high school, I went to college, and things worsened. I was so tired that I could barely keep up with my classes, let alone my social life. I was constantly canceling plans with friends and family because I didn't have the energy.

It wasn't until I was in my mid-twenties that I finally found a doctor who took my symptoms seriously. She explained that my symptoms sounded like chronic fatigue syndrome, something I had never heard of before. This condition affects millions of people around the world today.
