June Wrap-Up: Glow-Ups, Chaos & Everything I’m Taking Into July

We may earn commission from links on this page, but we only recommend products we love. Promise.

Hi friends!

June was completely chaotic in a “burn it all down and start fresh” kind of way, but honestly, I found myself embracing that chaos in a way I never expected. It’s funny how sometimes you have to hit that unraveling point for clarity to set in. My mind, which had been racing non-stop, finally calmed down, and I even started sleeping again, can you believe it? 😄

In all that whirlwind, I took a step back and realized I had finally created something I’ve been putting off for years. It felt so liberating, almost like I was reclaiming a part of myself that I thought I’d lost. More on that in a second, but I can’t tell you how refreshing it felt to release the weight and start fresh!

Life Update: Vote for Me + Jon 🫶

Jon and I have somehow made it to the finals in a contest to be named America’s Favorite Couple! How wild is that? If we win, we get $20,000 and a feature in Variety, which is just mind-blowing! Honestly, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it all.

Right now, we’re in the nail-biting voting round, and we could really use your support. It’s super easy to vote, just a couple of clicks, and you can do it once a day. I know life gets busy, but if you could spare a few seconds to help us out, it would mean the world to us.

Being recognized like this feels surreal, and we’re so grateful for every bit of help we can get. I can’t thank you enough for being so awesome! ✨ If you want to vote for us, just click here! Your support would truly make this even more special! Thank you a million times over!

Now: Today marks the start of our 30-Day Glow-Up Challenge! (Click here to join for free!) 🎉 Now, before you think this is all about transforming into someone else, let’s clear the air: it’s not. This challenge is truly about giving ourselves the love, support, and shiny little moments we deserve in our daily lives.

GLOW-UP CHALLENGE: DAY 1

Let’s kick things off on easy mode with hydration… but who says we can’t make it cute✨?

Mini Goal: Today, let’s jazz up our water by adding some refreshing lemon, zesty mint, or crisp cucumber. Trust me, the little details matter!

Tip: Use an ice-cold, Chronically Chic glass that makes you feel fabulous. Did you know that just by adding those bougie vibes, you could be about 30% more likely to reach for that water? It’s all about those little feelings of luxury, right?

As we dive into this month, I want you to think about what you’d like to feel more of... maybe it’s energy, joy, or even a calm sense of clarity. Whatever it is, keep it manageable and fun! Each day, we’ll adopt a mini ritual that helps us reset our energy and reignite that inner glow. I’ll drop the daily prompts on Instagram and Twitter, and recap everything in an email, so make sure to follow along if you haven’t yet! Cheers to feeling amazing! 🌟

OK but… the e-book is here 😭

"Plan Your Year, Plan Your Life" is finally here! I wanted to create something that wasn’t just another generic planner collecting dust on a shelf. Nope! I was craving a full-body YES to my life, a way to connect with what really matters to me. So, I decided to build something that I could actually use daily.

Inside, you’ll find a 60+ page planning system that helps you let go of that pressure to force January energy in August. Seriously, no more trying to squeeze a fresh start into months that just don’t fit! There’s also a “big picture” section where you can dive deep into your goals, values, roles, and those big dreams that light you up.

The monthly check-ins? They feel more like therapy sessions than just ticking off to-do lists. It's a chance to reflect and regroup without the usual stress. I’ve bundled in some of the actual tools I use to map out my life and my content, organizing ideas and finding focus in a way that doesn’t lead to burnout or overwhelm.

Plus, you'll find visioning prompts designed to jog your creativity, especially useful for those times when you feel a bit stuck. It’s all about finding clarity and a sense of direction.

And let me tell you, there are zero stickers and absolutely no fluff here, just the bare essentials that helped me build Chronically Chic, heal my nervous system, and keep pushing forward even when life threw all its challenges at me at once.

All this goodness is just $27 and ready for instant download! If you’re serious about your glow-up and want to ensure it lasts beyond the first couple of weeks, this is how you set yourself up for success. You’ve got this, and I’m cheering you on every step of the way! 🌟

June’s Biggest Lesson: Simplify or suffer.

I started stripping everything down: my goals, my skincare, my calendar, my expectations. I stopped chasing shiny new routines and focused on what actually helps me function. Which turned out to be painfully boring things like:

• Eating real meals, not snacks disguised as meals

• Wearing the same 3-ish outfits on rotation

• Not touching my phone until after breakfast

• Having ONE priority a day instead of eight

• Letting things be good enough

Sometimes the glow-up isn’t the new serum, it’s saying no to stuff that’s stealing your peace.

Random Obsession: ZBiotics

I don’t usually care about “biohacking” stuff, but this one’s real:

ZBiotics is a probiotic you take before drinking, and it helps you not feel like death the next day.

I take it before wine nights or cocktails with friends, and I swear it’s the reason I can wake up early the next day like a functioning person. Especially if you’re histamine-sensitive or just tired of sacrificing your whole Sunday for one fun Friday. Shop here with code CHICSAVE for 10% off!

Small Wins That Deserve a Toast:

• I passed 3,100 followers on Twitter (thank you 😭)

• I stopped procrastinating & got my entire July mapped: content, budget, meals, plans…

• I kept my office clean for 12 whole days (a personal record)

Quote I Needed:

Discipline is remembering what you want.” — David Campbell

Soft habits. Clear vision. No panic. That’s where I’m trying to live.

Question of the Week:

What’s one tiny thing that makes you feel like your life is together, even if everything else is chaos?

Besides my E-book? Probably tidying an area that feels cluttered while I sing and dance to one song. Boosts my mood, gets something checked off, huge dopamine boost! Reply and tell me yours, I might include it in next week’s email.

A Quick Ask:

I’m updating my blog layout this month! If you’ve ever visited Chronically Chic, could you let me know:

• Is it easy to find what you’re looking for?

• Are the menus and categories working for you?

• Anything you wish it had or problems you've encountered?

Just reply and tell me. I’m all ears!

Final Notes for July:

• Book your hair, nails, or dentist appointments NOW

• No, you don’t need a whole new summer wardrobe... You need one or two outfits that make you feel unstoppable

• Don’t fall for the “mid-year panic.” You’re doing better than you think!

• Hydration = personality trait now

• Get yourself a cute calendar. The year isn’t over. There’s still time to make it yours! (There's a GREAT printable one in the e-book!)
